Paramedics help six evacuated after flat blaze
Six people were treated by ambulance crews after a fire at a flat.
Firefighters were called to the scene in Muirbrae Way in Rutherglen, South Lanarkshire, at 8.36pm on Sunday.
Local residents had raised the alarm after seeing a large amount of smoke coming from the property.
Firefighters put out the blaze in the second-floor flat.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said six people were treated at the scene by ambulance crews but did not need to go to hospital.
