#EXTINCTIONREBELS

Climate change protesters blocked several locations in London and scaled the Finnieston Crane in Glasgow.

@lesleyfrankin wrote: “Civil disobedience has been at the heart of all great struggles for justice. The environmental movement, and the planet, depend on this work and energy of civil society.”

@Scotlandxr said: “Happy rebellion day!”

@Catrinnye added: “Protestors from Extinction Rebellion have put a boat that says ‘Tell The Truth’ on the side in the middle of Oxford Circus in London. Today is the group’s International Rebellion where they plan to bring parts of the capital to a standstill.”

#TIGERWOODS

The 15-time golf major winner triumphed in the Masters in what has been dubbed the greatest sporting comeback of all time after personal scandals and back surgery left him ranked outside the world’s top 1000 players. @serenawilliams said:

“I am literally in tears watching Tiger Woods. This is greatness like no other. Knowing all you have been through physically to come back and do what you just did today? Wow congrats a million times! I am so inspired thank you buddy.”

@Porshapwr wrote: “It doesn’t really matter if you care about Tiger Woods or even golf at all. The message is simple. Never let anyone else tell you what you can or cannot do.”

@mrspc48 was less impressed: “Tiger Woods is a lying cheater who humiliates his wife, scumbag. Love how folks put all that aside when it comes to sports. If men are awful humans but they can play a sport, then it’s all peachy. Find that disgusting.”

@Hannahalothman added: “So Tiger Woods is a good guy again because he did some good golf, is it?”

#GAMEOFTHRONES

If you had not heard, the smash-hit fantasy series has returned.

@Mahmficmm8 said: “I have never felt like more of a parent before when I crossed my fingers that my kid would stay asleep so I could watch Game of Thrones.”

@Brandonthatchamp joked: “Literally have a panic attack every time I see Game of Thrones in a post. Avoiding spoilers is so hard in 2019. Especially when your job requires you to be on the internet.”
