and now it is time to deliver on that.

“We are losing soft goals and that has to stop. We got ourselves in front against Alloa in our last game and then lost 2-1. That should not happen when you are fighting for your life.” Kerr Waddell, Michael Tidser, Bob Mchugh and Denny Johnstone are all injury doubts for Morton.

Caley Thistle return to action after Saturday’s 3-0 Scottish Cup semi-final defeat by Hearts at Hampden.

Manager John Robertson, pictured, has told his players that more big games lie in wait if they bounce back quickly. “Saturday’s outcome was disappointing for the players and the fans,” he said.

“The first half was good as we managed to stop Hearts playing the way they wanted to. However, they started the second half really strongly and got in front.

“We worked our way back into things and would have had an equaliser if not for an offside call that may not have been right. However, once they scored the second there was only going to be one winner.

“We have no cup final to look forward to, so we need to dust ourselves down and be ready for Morton. We could still have massive games to come so we need to do all that we can to get into the play-offs.

“There is still a big prize available and that is promotion, which would see us play in big occasions every week.”

On-loan Hearts midfielder Anthony Mcdonald returns after not being allowed to feature against his parent club at Hampden and Coll Donaldson is back after a ban. However, Sean Welsh remains out injured.
