Council to push through plans for new loch path
West Lothian Council may use a compulsory purchase order to push through plans for the realignment of a path through Lady Park in Linlithgow.
A council report detailed the plans and said: “This would allow the west side of the loch to be rewilded.”
Critics of the plan said the new path – almost ten feet wide and tarred over – would be like creating “a motorway accessible only by B-roads”.
