Peacefully, on April 3, 2019, at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, after a long illness, gallantly borne, John Scott Strachan, loving husband of Yvonne, loving step-father of Stephanie and Derek and of grandsons Matthew and Josh, dearly loved brother of Elizabeth and cherished only son of the late Margaret and Jack Strachan. Funeral on Tuesday, April 23, at Warriston Crematorium, Cloister Chapel at 12.30 pm, followed by a celebration of Scott’s life at Wardie Parish Church at approximately 1.30 pm. No flowers, please.
