Inverness Caley Thistle Rest is needed
Well it wasn’t to be, but for a club like Caley Thistle reaching a national semi-final is no mean feat. A visit to Hampden is always exciting and this one was no different. We never seemed to get going and were well beaten on the day.
On Tuesday night our battle-weary team travelled down to Greenock to play Morton and managed to come away with a point. This has almost secured our play-off spot and we only need another point to ensure we cannot mathematically be caught. The squad is small and fragile, with several players carrying knocks, and a few key players are sitting on the sidelines injured. It is imperative that the squad is managed well in the run-up to the play-offs to ensure we give ourselves the best chance at success.
