Alloa Athletic A real fighting chance

-

Alloa climb to the lofty heights of sixth in the table following their fourth consecutive league win– a club record for the second tier of Scottish football. The victory certainly had an element of good fortune about it. The decisive goal came directly from a wind-assisted corner, and opponents Queen of the South dominated much of the proceedings. It was a day for defensive stalwarts like Neil Parry, Andy Graham and Scott Taggart– all three having played every single minute of the campaign.

Anything could happen in the run-in, with so many teams in the relegation mix. Predicting potential results and run-in scenarios is a complete waste of time. Alloa have a great opportunity to retain their Championship status.
