Partick Thistle Nerve-jangling times

If nothing else, this year’s Championship is heading for its most exciting, nerve-jangling end to a season that I can remember for a long time.

Thistle’s draw at Ross County was a very decent result but with Alloa and Falkirk both picking up wins, it saw the Jags drop to the bottom of the table again. While we do have a game in hand, it is at Somerset Park where the home side will be looking to build momentum going into the promotion play-offs. There is no doubt that Alloa on Saturday at Firhill is a must win. In fact the way the fixtures are shaping up over the coming weeks, I have a horrible feeling that Thistle may have to win three of their last four to avoid relegation.
