Queen of the South Time to save our season

For large parts of the season there has been an element of the unknown regarding our ambitions. At times we have looked like the real deal, most notably when beating Ayr 5-0, Ross County 4-0 and Dundee 3-0. After a strong start to the calendar year the promotion play-offs looked a distinct possibility.

As the results started to dip it was then assumed we would find a spot mid-table, and meander our way to the end of the season. However, with our form now dropping off a cliff, there is no ambiguity in our situation. We have three games to save our season and hold on to our status in this division. The post-mortem as to how we have found ourselves in this position can wait until the summer.
