Braehead owner seals Derby deal

Shopping centre operator Intu, the operator of Braehead, near Glasgow, has sold a 50 per cent stake in its Derby shopping centre to investment firm Cale Street for £186 million.

Intu has had a challenging year amid general retail woes and failed merger talks. The deal will see the Kuwait-backed retail investor enter a joint venture with Intu for the Derby site.
