Doc’ n Roll

No live music but plenty of sweet (and otherwise) sounds at this travelling film festival dedicated to music documentaries. Highlights include Stories from the She-punks plus Q&A with directors Gina Birch of the Raincoats and Helen Reddington of The Chefs, profiles of Ella Fitzgerald, Blue Note Records and Chilly Gonzales, the unsung heritage of film library music and the influence of US gospel quartets on popular music, with docs on Trojan Records and Badly Drawn Boy to follow in Dundee on 17-18 May.
