Heather Holbrook will take on the role of regional director in the company’s cost management division. With considerable experience working across both commercial and public sectors, Holbrook’s dedicated approach has seen her successfully deliver many complex projects. In addition, John Mcguinness is appointed to the role of associate director, building surveying. To further support the continuing growth of Thomas & Adamson’s building surveying team, Greig Fenton takes on the role of associate director, building surveying.
● Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie LLP has announced the appointment of two partners at its Inverness office. Paul Adams and JP Campbell, who joined the team in 2018 as associates, have been promoted to partners at the Highland branch of the law firm. Adams, who previously worked as a senior associate at Stronachs before joining WJM’S commercial property team, has vast experience in property and planning matters throughout the Highlands. ● International law firm CMS is pleased to announce the appointment of energy and renewables specialist Chris Mcgarvey, who joins the firm on 1 May. He arrives from Pinsent Masons and will be based in the firm’s Glasgow office. Mcgarvey has built a strong practice in complex projects, with a clear focus on innovative technologies. He has advised on a large number of deals involving electricity generation and transmission, waste water and waste-to-energy projects and regulatory compliance work for electricity, gas and water utilities across the UK, western Europe and sub-saharan African jurisdictions.
