Trump unwanted

I see that actress Emma Thompson jetted in to London last week to join climate change protesters so that she could be pictured in a pink boat.

In their wake, Ms Thompson’s acolytes caused congestion and increased pollution and left a mess for council workers to clean up, so some consistency there.

“Saving the planet” apparently means using long-haul aircraft, increasing CO2 and leaving litter, graffiti and broken windows behind. With friends like that does the planet need enemies? If President Donald Trump is allowed to address the Westminster Parliament I will return blank electoral forms for all future elections – regional, general, referendarelated etc.

This may have no effect overall, but I will be severing any connection between him and the Parliament which I used to respect, and that will give me some personal satisfaction.

If he is ever allowed to address the Scottish Parliament we are finished as a respected country.
