Aberdeen airport staff vote to strike

-

Workers at Aberdeen International Airport have voted to strike in a row over pay and pensions.

Members of the trade union Unite backed the action by 88.3 per cent. No specific dates have been set for the action, although it is likely to begin in early May. The union said there had been progress in talks, but there was still no agreement on proposals regarding the pension scheme. The airport said it was “disappointed” and would have plans in place to avoid disruption.
