- By SCOTT REID

An Edinburgh retail park that is home to Halfords, Archers Sleep Centre, Connection Flooring and Sue Ryder has changed hands in a £3.4 million deal.

The Galbraith investment team working jointly with MWM Property Consultants have concluded the sale of Craigentinny Retail Park on the city’s Seafield Road on behalf of a client of Cedarwood Asset Management.

Following formal marketing and a closing date which attracted competitive bids, the site was sold to Danobe Securities for £3.35m, reflecting a net initial yield of 7.81 per cent.

Galbraith’s Jamie Thain said it attracted “a lot of attention due to its prominent location and conservative passing rents”.
