“To achieve that, I am asking you to join me in making a donation to this specific project.”

The video features a young Scots man having breakfast at home in the near future as the radio headlines warn of the £600 million economic hit Scotland faces as Brexit bites and that Boris Johnson is poised to replace Theresa May as Prime Minister.

He then answers at knock at the door to find Ms Sturgeon waiting.

“You know we can do so much better than this,” she states.

But the relaunch came under fire from Labour who say it shows the SNP leader’s statement on independence at Holyrood was about “trying to wring some cash” out of supporters for party funds

“The First Minister says we can do so much better than this – and given the state of our schools, transport, NHS and economy she is right. Scotland doesn’t need another referendum, it needs a Labour government,” a Labour spokesman said.
