Hibernian Pre-derby nerves

-

Hibernian’s unbeaten league run under Paul Heckingbottom continued on Sunday and it can be viewed more as a point gained than two dropped. It was the goalkeeping of Ofir Marciano which ultimately earned the draw – particularly in the final five minutes when he pulled off two outstanding saves.

You might have thought by the time you reach my age you’d look forward to playing Hearts but I’m resigned to a lifelong affliction of prederby nerves. Our recent success at Tynecastle and the fact our form suggests we are favourites does not change my cautious approach to these games, which is to fear the worst until the final whistle blows. All I will say is it will be a confident Hibs team who takes to the field on Sunday.
