Dundee Hierarchy must act now
The smell in the air in Perth was the torch of hope clung to by optimistic Dundee fans being swiftly extinguished by St Johnstone, who won 2-0. It was the same old game pattern we’re sadly used to; start brightly, retreat into our shells and make sloppy passes, concede, fall apart, fans boo and demand Jim Mcintyre’s sacking.
It’s undeniable that we’re heading down with Mcintyre at the helm, and with Partick Thistle providing a sobering example of the dangers of going down and holding onto a failed manager, the hierarchy need to take action and part ways with him to give us a sliver of a chance of survival. A new manager might not keep us up, but they’d at least begin to identify what can be done next season to hopefully make us more like Ross County than the Maryhill Magyars.
