Aberdeen SFA’S tunnel vision

What a week that was. We started it with the departure of Alex Mcleish as Scotland manager, a decision that was almost inevitable, notwithstanding his work in getting us to the playoff through the Nations League campaign.

On Saturday we had the “Battle of the Future Bosses” with the media keen to do their bit in disrupting the post-split period for the two teams most likely to challenge for second place. Let’s be honest, whilst Steve Clarke and Derek Mcinnes are more than qualified for the job, the SFA don’t have the vision to appoint them. I’d be surprised if the SFA are even capable of identifying fantastic candidates who are right under their noses such as Scot Gemmill. Instead brace yourselves for the usual suspects to be shortlisted and interviewed. I hope I’m wrong though.
