‘Much-loved husband’ killed in crash on A9

The family of a man who died in a crash between a car and an HGV on the A9 have paid tribute to a “much-loved husband, father and grandfather”.

Be rn ardMc Court ,63, from Alness, was the driver of a Fiat Bravo that crashed at the junction for Milnafua off the main trunk road at about 8:10 am on Wednesday.

The driver of the HGV received treatment for non-serious injuries at the scene. A family statement said: “Bernard was a muchloved husband, father and grandfather who will be sorely missed by a great many people.”
