Carpetright sees upturn in trading

C a r p e t r i g h t h a s s a i d t h a t i t s p e r f o r ma n c e improved significantly in the fourth quarter as it looks to bounce back f o l l o w i n g a t o r r i d 1 2 months.

I s s u i n g a t r a d i n g update, the firm stated that its overall trading performance in the 12 weeks to 20 April was in line with expectations, with like-for-like sales showing a big upswing compared to the year to date figure. Shares were given a boost.
