Dundee United Play-off priorities

-

A wonderful team goal and finish in the Highlands last weekend not only secured second place in the league but also laid down another marker to a potential play-off opponent.

With both Ayr and Inverness vanquished in the last couple of weeks it is the run of results that United need in the lead-up to the play-offs, in which a settled team and formation will be essential if we are to be successful. With the league title out of sight, the last two games must be used to get some players fit and gain some valuable game time. If we have been taught anything over the last two play-off campaigns, it’s that game and player management is essential. We must be able to intelligently utilise the available squad if we are not to run out of puff.
