Queen of the South Chances taken at last

-

Saturday’s match against Dunfermline was undoubtedly in the “must-win” category. We knew there was a strong possibility we could end the day at the foot of the table.

Despite this fact no doubt lingering at the back of the players’ minds, they managed to put in a confident and professional display to overcome the visiting Pars. It was clear from the off that the match was of huge importance to one team, while the other seemed to have one eye on their summer holidays.it was pleasing that we were able to capitalise on this, after several weeks of not taking our opportunities. Our fate is still in our own hands, but with a tough trip to Dingwall on the horizon, our final game against Partick still looks like being decisive. Neil Cameron
