Police inquiry after man’s body found in house

Police are investigating after a man’s body was found at a property in Dumbarton.

Officers were called to the scene in Helenslee Place in the West Dunbartonshire town at around 3:15pm on Thursday.

The body of a 67-yearold man was found inside the property. The area has since been cordoned off.

Police said the death is currently being treated as unexplained and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Police officers remained at the property, which is near Levengrove Park, yesterday.
