A cold store, firewall, cladding and single envelope specialist expanding in Scotland has started work on a major project creating a distribution centre in Cumbernauld for Farmfoods.

The frozen foods supermarket chain is establishing the new cold store warehouse – which spans more than 17,000 square metres – near its headquarters and has enlisted ISD Solutions.

Gloucester-basedisdhas worked with Farmfoods before and started work on the North Lanarkshire project at the end of April, expecting to finish work in early September. The Cumbernauld project marks the latest in a series that ISD Solutions has undertaken north of the Border, where it is keen to win more business. It has also recently appointed Martin Paul to head up a new Glasgow-based office.
