Missing pensioner found safe and well

An 86-year-old woman who went missing in the Highlands has been found safe and well.

Police appealed for information on the whereabouts of Isobel Mcpherson in Grantown-on-spey on Saturday.

The pensioner was last seen in the town’s Castle Road East just before 11am.

She was traced to a farmhouse shortly before 6pm and did not require any medical attention, a Police Scotland spokesman said.
