Uber adds Tube timetables to app

Uber has added public transport information for Greater London to its app for the first time, which will show bus and train information alongside its own ride-hailing options.

The firm said it wants to help reduce private car ownership and air pollution in the city by promoting wider transport options. From today, users will see a new “Public Transport” option appear when they enter a destination, which will show real-time London Underground and bus information as well other train, tram and riverboat access.
