Police for peace

-

A community left terrified after a mass riot at Moredun, Edinburgh, and an increase in the threat of serious violence has demanded police step up “traditional” local patrols.

Listen, the polis are busy down Ocean Terminal catching folk going at 23 mph – they made ten grand in one afternoon so they simply haven’t got the time or resources to deal with this kind of thing.

Colin Simpson That’s what happens when you have cutbacks from the Westminster government. The youth projects will have been cut back where these young folk have nowhere to gather... it’s happening around the whole of the country because youth clubs and workers have been cut back. Also, with Brexit there will be no European social grants available.

So it’s back to the old days – no money, no work.
