Business incubator to help earlystage firms

Start-up businesses in North Ayrshire have been given a head-start with the launch of a new business incubation facility.

The local council said its Circuit Enterprise Hub in Irvine was aimed at small, local businesses which aspire to grow and take on premises within a 12-month period.

The hub will offer subsidised office accommodation for up to 12 new and ambitious early-stage growth businesses.

Karen Yeomans, executive director of economy and communities, said: “We are committed to supporting the growth of smaller businesses, and the new enterprise hub is a valuable addition to the extensive suite of business support we currently provide.”
