Teen assaulted by masked men in play park hit

A teenager has been injured after being chased and attacked by masked men in a Glasgow play park.

The 18-year-old suffered serious injuries after being set upon in Castlemilk by a four-strong gang wearing balaclavas.

Police are treating the assault as attempted murder.

Officers said the victim was one of a group of teenagers in a play park off Machrie Drive when the men approached around 11:25pm last Friday.

They chased the 18-yearold through the park and assaulted him.
