Customers can bring own jars to zero waste store

-

A grocery shop where customers are told to ‘ bring your own container’ has opened in Scotland’s largest city.

No plastic packaging can be found in the shop Zero Waste Market in Dennistoun situated in the east end of Glasgow.

And unlike supermarket chains, customers can buy as little as they want such as a single egg or a handful of pasta.

The shop does not offer plastic packaging and instead gives customers the opportunity to bring in jars and empty containers to weigh their goods and pay for what they need.
