Developers must quieten noise after approval

The developers behind a major housing development near Glasgow will have to find ways to minimise disruption and noise problems for locals.

Barr att Homes, Ca la Homes and Ga rn kirk Estates are jointly proposing to construct 200 homes at a site north of Cumbernauld Road in Stepps.

The planning application received 26 objections. An appeal by the developers to the Scottish Government was successful.
