Wellbeing survey for staff delayed
Police chiefs have come under fire over an “excessive” delay to its regular survey of staff wellbeing.
It comes amid recent revelations about failings in the condition of police stations around Scotland and concerns this may have undermined the morale of frontline officers. The regular engagement and wellbeing survey planned for last autumn has been pushed back a year.
Liberal Democrat justice spokesman has now written to the Scottish Police Authority chair Susan Deacon demanding an explanation. “In light of recent revelations, I am deeply concerned that the extent of this delay is excessive,” he said.
