A Labour spokesman said the party opposed outside interference in Venezuela “whether from the US or anywhere else”.

He also said President Donald Trump is “eager” to sign a trade deal with the UK after it has left the European Union and urged London and Brussels to resolve the B rex it impasse “soon”.
