Culloden battle
like to lecture us, doesn’t he? He’s missed his second calling in the pulpit.
Selina Laurie
The only place he should be making speeches is in the dock at the Hague.
David Mullen
Declaring war on Iraq was a tad “foolish” Mr Blair, was it not?
Glen Campbell Says the guy who thinks a UK football league will solve all problems.
Giovanni Gentles
Of course independence would be foolish for Scotland, if indeed it was ever possible to achieve (which is doubtful). And of course that the people of Scotland actually wanted it (which they already conclusively stated that they don’t).
Alastair Browne
His involvement is more likely to encourage people to leave than deter them.
Duncan Heather
Usually the enemy of my enemy is my friend – but I make an exception for Blair.
Damian Hallmark Why do I get the feeling that every time he opens his mouth to support a cause he always sets it back?
Rob Rhead Tony Blair can take a long walk off a short pier. The only thing I want to hear from him is his evidence at his war crimes trial.
Gillian Sloan Hate to think of Culloden being destroyed by a sea of houses. It’s a haunting and eerie place that I would not like to live near let alone on top of it.
Cheryl Heritage Massey You cannot touch Culloden. You feel the presence of everyone there when you go. It should be sacred ground and left well alone.
Pat Somers I’m glad I’ll be there in two weeks to appreciate it while I can.
Jennifer Jameson Jackson
Anyone ever see films where cemeteries are disturbed? They might want to think twice about disturbing this battlefield. Just saying . . .
Lucky Cabral
I hope the men who have fallen haunt every house.
Cam Fairweather
Anyone who’s ever visited Culloden can tell how special it is. Shame on the developers and on anyone who buys these houses.
Paula Wallen Hell mend the people who buy the houses and hell mend the developers.
Janet Mcbeath
It’s another set of people offering anything to get your vote. Come on back to reality and even try to consider how much this would cost.
Christine Wilson
Nothing is free – someone has to pay for it just like everything else in life.
Tom Lambie
Do they really believe that the rest of the EU is going to listen to one MEP from the Scottish Green Party? if it wasn’t so sad it would be laughable.
Sheila Gravenstede
Clearly you’re unaware just how many towns and cities in Europe have gone to a free transport model. So it wouldn’t be the case of the rest of the EU listening to a daftie. What’s being suggested is “blue sky thinking”– extending what EU countries are already achieving in disparate locations. No-one seriously thinks it’s achievable but out of this could come a commitment from each country to do more.
