Father dies 17 years after baby’s death

A devoted father whose 17-month- old baby girl was brutally killed by her mother’s new partner never got over her “horrific” murder and died almost 20 years later, a jury inquest has heard.

Craig Moverley’s body was spotted floating in a canal on 23 June 2015.

The 46- year-old had been reported missing to police after absconding from a psychiatric unit. His death came 19 years after his daughter Karisha White was beaten to death in 1996 by Allan Rennie in Girvan.
