Edinburgh-based E ne us Energy is to develop a pipeline of ammonia production sites powered by renewable sources after securing “significant” investment.

The funding package, for an undisclosed sum, is a strategic investment by Green Cat Renewables, a green energy consultancy headquar tered in Biggar, with offices in Livingston and Edinburgh.
E ne us chief executive Chris Bronsd on said: “Global markets and policy are all highlighting a rapid move from carbonbased fuels, to hydrogen and ammonia.”
