Jobs at risk in leisure service restructure
West Lothian Leisure is to enter consultation with its staff over plans to restructure.
The company, which provides sport, leisure, outdoor education and cultural facilities from 20 sites across the region, and employs 510 staff, said jobs would go and opening hours would be reduced.
The move is part of a three-year plan dev eloped to respond to a combination of external forces, including increasing employment and operational costs, increased competition from budget operators, and significant cuts to its funding.
