What’s the last piece of clothing you bought?

A pair of straight leg jeans with huge turn- ups from Topshop Boutique.

What are you addicted to buying?

Bags, bags, bags.

Best ever bargain?

Last year I braved a Margaret Howell sample sale in London with my sixmonth- old strapped to my chest. It was worth it. One lady rejected this gorgeous padded parka, the only one left, and I lunged for it across a busy aisle. I needed a new coat and I’m happy to say I have worn it to death ever since. Also, someone very sweetly let me jump the humongous queue on account of having a baby – result.

Who has great style?

Stella Mccartney, Sienna Miller, Claudia Winkleman, to name but a few.

Name your favourite high street shop.

& Other Stories.

Any fashion disasters

you’d care to tell us about?

Too many. I once had this cream below- the- knee A- line linen skirt with flowers stitched on to the side from Zara ( sorry Zara, I love you really). Looking back at photos it was just one ugly, unflattering and uncool frumpfest.

What’s your favourite item in your wardrobe?

My oversized Mes Demoiselles mohair Fairisle jumper. I bought it on Trouva ( www. trouva. com) from an independent shop in Berlin and I LOVE it. n
