A Specsavers customer was left stunned after he was asked to pay £4 billion for a bottle of eye drops. Cameraman Martyn Chidlow, 55, said he “couldn’t believe his eyes” when he saw £4,031,626,711.51 on the till instead of the expected £9.95 price. The mistake was quickly sorted.
