Scotrail trains up first aiders in mental help
Scotrail has announced it will train more than 50 of its staff to provide mental health first aid to anyone in need.
The NHS-accredited training will help employees identify people who may require assistance and guide them towards support services.
Some workers have already completed the programme, which involves instruction on listening and asking about suicide where appropriate. The announcement was made at the start of Mental Health Awareness Week.
