Rays of sunshine: Forecaster­s say Scotland set for another week of high temperatur­es

Children enjoy an ice lolly in Stonelaw Woods, Burnside, as forecaster­s say Scotland is set to bask in glorious sunshine this week, with temperatur­es exp ected to hit 21C in some parts of the country.

Glasgow will enjoy weather warmer than the likes of Ibiza and Barcelona, with tomorrow predicted to be the hottest day of the week. Edinburgh will also enjoy long spells of sunshine throughout the week, with temperatur­es reaching a high of 21C on Tuesday.

Craig Snell of the Met Office said: “If you are lucky enough to have the week off, Scotland is going to be very sunny.”
