Collum man in middle for Hampden showpiece final

Willie Collum will referee the William Hill Scottish Cup final between Hearts and Celtic at H amp den Park on 25 May.

The Scottish Football Associatio­n confirmed the 40 -yea r- old, pictured, will handle his second seasonendi­ng show piece after being the man in the middle in the 2015 final between Inverness and Falkirk. Collum has been in charge of three Scottish Cup fixtures this season, including Hearts’ fourthroun­d win over Livingston and C el tic’ s sixth-round victory over Hibernian.

He also refereed the Bet fred Cup semi-final between Hearts and Celtic at Murrayfiel­d last October.

Coll um will be assisted at Hampden Park by Alan Mulvanny and R alp hG or don, with Don Robertson as four th official and Kevin Clancy and Bobby Madden the additional assistant referees.
