Schoolboy left with face injuries after capital trip

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to find after a school boy was subjected to racist abuse and hit on the head in Edinburgh.

The 16-year-old was on a school trip in Edinburgh last month when the incident took place on Montgomery Street.

Racial abuse was directed at a group of teenagers before the boy was hit on the head, injuring his face, police said.

Officers want to speak to a man in his late 20s in connection with the assault on 25 April. He is described as white, around 5ft 6in and of medium build.
