Swimmers enjoy dip as temperatures forecast to climb further today

A diver plunging into Gourock’s outdoor salt water pool as Scotland basked in another day of warm May sunshine.

The Met Office forecast temperatures will rise further today, to 24-25C in the Highlands and 23C in the Central Belt.

But tomorrow is looking cloudier with an expected high of 20C as temperatures cool towards the weekend.
