Crossbow bolts killed three people

Three people found dead at a German hotel with crossbow bolts lodged in them died from those wounds, according to autopsy results released yesterday.

However, police said there was no sign of any struggle or that any other people were involved.

Investigators said a 53- year-old man and a 33-year-old woman found dead in a hotel bed in Pass au, near the Austrian border, on Saturday each died from one bolt to the heart. A 30- year-old woman found on the floor of the same room died from a shot to the neck. Police said that they found wills alongside the bodies of the two people on the bed.
