Elle’s jury: 21-year-old becomes youngest to join judging panel at Cannes Film Festival

US actor Elle Fanning ,21, became the Cannes Film Festival’s youngest ever juror as the 72nd movie showcase opened on the French Riviera.

She said :“I definitely am young but I started acting very young, as well.” Her film career star ted at age three, playing the younger version of her older sister Dakota’s character in I Am Sam.

The festival opened with Jim Jarmusch’s zombie com-edy The Dead Don’ t Die. Among the starrier films debuting will be Quentin Tarantino’s Los Angeles tale Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and the Elton John biopic Rocketman.
