Xodus Group ramps up renewables focus with dedicated advisory team
Xodus Group, the Aberdeen-headquar tered global energy consultancy, has flexed its renewables muscle with the launch of a dedicated advisory unit.
The firm said the team would suppor t lenders, developers and the wider supply chain to “identify and capitalise on renewable energy opportunities and mitigate against risk”.
Scott Hamilton has been appointed to lead the unit and will be charged with delivering a range of commercial consultancy services to owners and developers of renewable energy assets and wider industry participants.
He will also help deliver “commercially-focused” business analysis, economics and due diligence services to clients.
Hamilton previously worked as a special advisor supporting Scottish and Norwegian companies to assess the suitability of their products or services in the international offshore wind market.
He will be supported by Rob Clayton, who joins Xodus from energy services giant Wood, where he worked as a wind and marine energy consultant.

He is also experienced in liaising with financial institutions, industry bodies and government officials and ministers.
