Peacefully, at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness with his family by his side on Sunday, May 12, 2019, Dr Ian Burns, aged 87 years, of Wick, beloved husband of Katie, dearly loved dad of Jane Anne, Niall, Mairi and Michael and a much loved grandpa and good father, RIP. Remains to be received into St Joachim's RC Church, Malcolm Street, Wick on Thursday, May 23, at 6.45 pm, funeral on Friday, May 24, Requiem Mass in church at 12 noon, thereafter to Wick Cemetery, Harrow Road, Wick, cortege arriving at 1 pm, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, family flowers only please, but if desired a retiring collection will be taken at the church for Ian's favourite charities.
