#MENTALHEALTH

Hosted by the Mental Health Foundation, Mental Health Awareness Week this year focuses on body image – how we feel about ourselves and how that affects our wellbeing.

@Chevertoncopse tweeted: “Take care of yourself so that you can be the best version of you.”

@samsparkes999 said: “Let’s break the stigma. Let’s talk Mental Health. Look after you! Make sure you take the time to reflect on how you’re feeling. If you’re down, it’s okay not to be okay. Speak out... be kind to you. You are amazing.”

@Katiesgamecrner added: “It’s Mental Health Awareness Week and an important time to say, that your mental health IS important. You are not selfish for talking about it, or getting help, or putting yourself first. You do deserve to get professional help and your illness is valid. You are not alone.”

#GAMEOFTHRONES

Fans of the gargantuan HBO show took to Twitter to react to this week’s penultimate episode which included character reunions and a fiery finale. No spoilers ahead.

@Touristkid wrote: “A big shout out to Lena Headey as Cersei, who made $1,000,000 an episode this season for standing at a window drinking a glass of wine. An icon.”

@m2gg1 said: “I can’t believe we waited two years for a poorly planned and very rushed final season of one of the best shows on TV. Game of Thrones deserved better, and so did all the characters we spent seven seasons falling in love with.” @lucycrawfordd added: “Feel bad for all the kids whose parents named them Daenerys/khaleesi before the show ended. Poor souls. Mother of War Crimes.”

#STMIRREN

Premiership side St Mirren beat 10-man Hamilton Academical 2-0 to keep their bid to avoid relegation to the second tier alive. @Bryanmclaren said: “St Mirren are a club who live within their means, have a cracking stadium, try to play good football and have a strong history in Scottish football, including some real success. Can’t think of one single reason why Hamilton would deserve it more than Saints.”

@euangtaylor joked: “The SPFL need to explore options as to whether we can relegate St Mirren AND Hamilton. Dreadful fare.”
